The following calculator will assist you in your decision to retain legal council and in determining if you have a claim against Charles Schwab.
INSTRUCTIONS
Obtain your Schwab YieldPlus Fund transaction history through:
(1) The Charles Schwab website
(2) By asking your Financial Consultant for an "Account History" reflecting all transactions in the fund
(3) By taking the information directly from your monthly statements.
Determine if each transaction is a purchase, sale or dividend reinvested, or dividend received.
Dividends that you received are entered as sales because those are cash distributions that you have actually received.
For each transaction, enter the date, security symbol, description, number of shares, Net Asset Value (NAV) price per share and either the total purchase cost or total sales proceeds depending upon whether the transaction was a purchase or sale.
Click Add to make an additional entry.
If you have made an error, use the delete button to remove the last line.
When you have finished entering all of the transactions, click Calculate to find out your profit and/or loss. You may also print a copy for your records.
WHAT'S THE NEXT STEP?
Email the information to Attorney Shine and he will review the information and provide a no-charge, no-obligation consultation.
